Greg Paul is a guitarist/songwriter, recording engineer and producer who has composed music for television, film and stage. He is both a PAMPTA and Silver Microphone Award recipient for excellence in composition. He has been an integral member of many notable Northwest bands, garnering critical acclaim for his songwriting, his recordings, and for his singular guitar playing.


His credits include stints as lead guitarist with both Yep Roc Recording Artist Amy Farris (Dave Alvin, Alejandro Escovedo, Brian Wilson) and 80‘s Alternative Rock Icon, Deborah Iyall (Romeo Void, NVR say NVR and DIG).

As a songwriter, Greg found representation with NYC’s George N. Stein, Esq. (Jeff Buckley, Lou Reed, The B -52’s). With the guidance of Mr. Stein, Greg was fast tracked to Nashville’s music publishing and songwriting community, where he formed many valuable and lasting associations.  Subsequent Nashville representation was handled by Kelly Paul Birner and Steven L. Sharp (Sharp Objects). 


Greg’s songs have been pitched to to major label artists such as Keith Urban, Martina McBride, Hank Williams Jr., Blake Shelton, Tim McGraw, Blaine Larsen, Montgomery Gentry, Alan Jackson, Mark Chesnutt, George Straight and Billy Currington to name a few.


In addition to pursuing his songwriting, recording, producing and solo performing career, He also plays acoustic and electric guitars with the Jennifer Smieja Band, and with Shoebox Letters, a West Coast Americana outfit, led by Dennis Winslow.
